Dak Lak is the largest province of Vietnam lying on Dak Lak highland. It is one of the 3 largest highlands of Tay Nguyen, 400 - 800m above sea level on average, with 35 percent of the area being high mountains. The region’s climate is fairly mild with 2 separate seasons: rain season and dry season.



Dak Lak woods contain a large timber deposit and many rare and precious animals, especially elephants. From Dak Lak, you can drive to Pleiku, Ninh Hoa, Ban Don and Da Lat-beautiful tourist spots of the country.



Coming to Dak Lak, tourists can visit dozens of majestic waterfalls such as Dray Sap, Dieu Thanh, and Gia Long; beautiful and poetic lakes; pure forests; Don Village, which is well-known for hunting and taming elephants; historical places of the 13th Cham Tower, ex-emperor Bao Dai’s Villa.

Economic potentialities: bamboo, hydro-power reserve.
