Binh Thuan is a coastal province bordering Lam Dong to the north, Vung Tau to the southwest and the sea to the east. Hardly affected by monsoons, the climate of the area is hot and dry with average temperature of 260C - 270C (78 - 810F).



Besides the beauty of nature such as Doi Duong Beach and the Vinh Hao hot springs, Binh Thuan possesses age-old and diversified culture of many ethnic groups with Cham traditional festivals, ancient architectures like Bao Son pagoda, and Po-Sha-Nu relics, Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda (also called Ta Cu Mountain Pagoda), Mui Ne, Po Klong Moh Nai Temple. In Binh Thuan, there exists the Cham Royal Family Collection of Cultural Articles which is composed of precious articles having belonged to Champa Kings.
