Bac Ninh is a province in the northern delta and midland. Bac Ninh borders Bac Giang to its north; Hai Duong to its east and southeast; Hanoi to its west; Hung Yen to its south.
The terrain of the province is mainly flat and there are some mounts that have gone down in poetry such as Thien Thai Mount. The traffic system is rather convenient. The annual average temperature is about 23,4oC (74oF), which is very favorable for travel.
This place has many towers and churches that became famous scenic spots, historical relics and views for sight seeing: Phat Tich pagoda, and Co camp, Dau Pagoda, Do Temple, But Thap Pagoda...
Bac Ninh is an ancient land as well as a cradle of Vietnam’s civilization. This is the very birthplace of the traditional folk song, “Quan Ho”. Bac Ninh is also one of the localities that have many celebrations: Ba Chua Kho Festival, Lim Festival (where they sing love duets), and Chua Dau Festival.
