Bac Giang Province has many beautiful landscapes, especially many large gigantic reservoirs, such as Cam Son Lake and Khuon Than Lake. Being the residence of many people like Viet, Nung, Tay, San Chay, San Diu, and Hoa, Bac Giang celebrates almost all traditional cultural festivals of Kinh Bac Region, and also festivals of various ethnic groups. Some typical festivals are the Spring Festival, Yen The Festival, Tram Rung Festival, and Suoi Mo Temple Festival.
Bac Giang is in the Northern Midland and borders with the Northern Delta Plain. The territory is mainly made up of small plains, midland and mountainous regions. The climate is divided into two distinct seasons of winter and summer. The annual average temperature is 24oC (75oF).
The districts of the province are Son Dong, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam, Yen The, Lang Giang, Yen Dung, Viet Yen, Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa.
Bac Giang’s economic potentialities are agriculture, forestry, fruit (litchi, pineapple).
